This new section of the site brings together, for the first time, all of the educational programmes, materials and educational events of IHM.

In the main it brings the original content from the long running Managing Health and Social Care (MHSC) site alongside other programmes such as Managing Complaints for Service Improvement, the Practice Management Vocational Training Scheme and Fellowship by assessment.

Whilst each programme has a unique focus or purpose, work is continuing to develop across the programmes the blend of learning which works best and represents the unique role of the professional body in management education and development, including our progressing developments in CPD for members.

Unlike many other sections of the site our educational programmes are open to all managers. Whist members benefit from a discount and many non member learners benefit from temporary membership we ensure the highest quality programmes and materials regardless of being a member or not.

Materials, which form the basis for many of the University qualifications based upon MHSC, are available for order and purchase in this section of the site.

We also work closely with Skills for Health, the Sector Skills Council for the UK health sector whose aim is to develop a more skilled, flexible and productive workforce to raise the quality of health and healthcare in the UK.  For more information visit   http://www.skillsforhealth.org.uk/

As we move forward with our plans for materials updates, new Milestones and Elements and new programmes as well as network meetings, University meetings, providers meetings and users meetings, we will communicate these through these pages so keep in touch with developments by book marking this page.
